The Clubhouse

Members of other clubs with reciprocal agreements can visit the RN&SYC and enjoy the privileges of a Club Member; all you need to bring is a valid membership card or letter from your home club demonstrating your current membership. Alternatively; visitors are welcome to the club as the guest of a member.

How to get to the RN&SYC

By Road: 

From the South; follow the A12 exiting onto the London Rd Pakefield (B1532). Continue to follow the B1532 keeping in the right hand lane when the road splits. After the traffic lights at Mill Road (Dingles Toyota) keep in the right lane, following the road round to the right and take the left turn on Royal Terrace immediately after the bus stop.

From the West; follow the A146 from Beccles and continue onto Bridge Road (A1117). Exit Bridge Road at the roundabout onto Victoria Road and continue onto Waveney Drive. At the roundabout, join the A12 towards the Town Centre. At the next roundabout take the exit onto Mill Road towards South Beach and join the right hand lane on London Road South. Follow the road round to the right and take the left turn on Royal Terrace immediately after the bus stop.

From the North; follow the A12 to Lowestoft and across the Lowestoft Bascule Bridge keeping in the left hand lane after the bridge. Follow the road round to the left and take the left turn on Royal Terrace immediately after the bus stop. Alternatively, exit the A12 onto Millennium Way and continue onto Peto Way. Cross the roundabout at Normanston Drive and continue on Peto Way, crossing the roundabout onto Denmark Road. Continue onto Station Square then keep right onto the A12 across the Lowestoft Bascule Bridge, keeping in the left hand lane after the bridge. Follow the road round to the left and take the left turn on Royal Terrace immediately after the bus stop.

By Train:

Lowestoft train station is a five minute walk from the Clubhouse. Exit the station and turn right; cross the road and walk towards the Bascule Bridge. Cross the bridge and the RN&SYC is on your left hand side. The entrance is at the south side of the building.

By Bus:

East Point Pavilion is the closest bus stop the Clubhouse. This stop is available on route 61.

Lowestoft Bus Station is located on Gordon Road. Walk down Gordon Road then turn right onto London Road North (main high street). Continue down London Road North then cross the road and walk towards the Bascule Bridge. Cross the bridge and the RN&SYC is on your left hand side. The entrance is at the south side of the building.

Please approach the gates of the RN&SYC and press the buzzer to inform reception of your arrival.
