VALENTINES REVIEW by Jean Shackleton
Warm companionship in the bar leading to a fountain of red roses in the foyer, then soft music and scattered candle-light in the dining-room. The meticulous presentation, for which thanks are due, enhanced a gently romantic evening. And in the morning came the contrast of waking up in a cosy room and looking out on the breaking crests of a ‘Cor Blimey’ sea.
Long may the tradition of Valentine’s Night at the Club continue and long may the members continue to enjoy them.
