Cruising at the RNSYC
|
Uniquely the RNSYC can boast not only a sheltered marina in one of the East Coast's few deep water, all-weather,
harbours but also access to the finest inland sailing waters in the country; in this respect the club has much in common with clubs in the Netherlands,
our closest neighbours across the North Sea. As befits a gateway to the Broads with unrestricted
access to the sea, "cruising" at the RNSYC encompasses everything from pottering on the Norfolk & Suffolk rivers to exploring the coasts and waterways of Europe,
tackling the Atlantic circuit and sailing round the world. Power or sail, there are opportunities for everyone to enjoy their own particular version
of our sport. Three cruises-in-company take place each year over the Spring and Whit Bank holiday weekends and in September; occasional
talks and other get-togethers are held on winter evenings.
